Found one more large Yellow Morel, by the same dead apple tree as before.  It was about 8' away from the stump.  It was 7" tall.  Some ants were using it as food/shelter.

I cut it open, at home, and evicted the ants.  had to use water to wash out those critters.  I noticed the murky water collecting under each half of the cap.  I let it evaporate some then I smeared some of this stuff on the slide.  Some surprises!  See pictures of the spores under microscope.
