Below is a picture of it dried.  I finally figured out why the Canon was taking blurry pictures.  The mode dial was somehow set to something that specializes in blurred pictures, sometimes.  I re set it to Programmed Mode and is taking good pictures again :o)

This mushroom is now 1" wide.

Here is the pore layer.  It is great how you can use the camera as a low power microscope.
