Juhani Laaksonen thinks this might be a
Hohenbuchelia.
Plate 443 in Lincoff's guide shows Leaflike Oyster ( petaloides) that has the
general shape of my cluster. My picture was taken after a week of
continuous rain which I believe leached out some of the color. The only
thing that throws a monkey wrench into the ID is the fact that mine appear to
have a non stubby central stalk. The spore print was white. One
person thinks it is a water logged Clitocybe of some kind.
Here is the clump as I found it growing in
a pile of oak leaves.

They are pinkish beige in color. The largest cap is about 3.5". If
it would be possible to straighten out all those folds, I am sure the largest
cap would measure 5".
Here is the underside of the clump.

The gills are decurrent and white in color.
Here is an individual's top.
The pink tone shows up well on my monitor.
