Jerry found the first Morel in Dudley MA on May 3.

Here is pair as growing.

This looks like a re-hydrated mushrooms of some kind.  Growing on a stump.  In Jerry's words:
"growing on what I think is a maple stump. I forgot to put my quarter down but the biggest one is about the size of a nickel".
