A 3/8" cap with a nipple on top.

Fibbers on top of cap and underneath.

Bill Neill recognized it as an Inocybe.  Lincoff refers to them as Fiber Head.  It is a perfect example of an LBM.  To determine the exact specie would be more trouble than it is worth :o)

Base of stem.  The stem was solid.  It felt like a stick.
