This thing looks like a start to a Bolete.

But it looks like it is not developing into a Bolete.

Amanita with child: Amanita rubescens

A colorful 3/4" diameter mushroom.  Should be called "Sunny-side-up" :o)
On 12/15/05 I was reading an article that mentioned a common name Sunny Side Up.  The scientific name is Bolbitius vitellinus.  That is what I make this.
