Giant Yellow Morel Spore Pictures

This picture is at 1000x with oil immersion lens.  The pictures were reduced in size to half the originals.  According to the Lincoff guide, the spores were supposed to be "smooth".  He does not mention all the doodads that are visible inside.

Also there appears to be several different size and shape of spores.  Since these spores came of the mushroom, it is possible that these oddballs came off another mushroom?  Sort of hitched a ride?
