Drops of KOH on the top of the cap turned it dark brown, almost black.

On the pores, the KOH remained as a bead.  After about 30 seconds there started appearing a light green color.

This is about as dark as it gets then it starts to fade.  After 2 or 3 minutes only a clear bead of KOH remains.
