Here is a mature Yellow-centered Waxy Cap with a cap of 4.5".  The gills were still white.  No deposit of spores under the mushroom.  The gel has dried up.

A pair.  Note no spore deposit on the mushroom under the larger.

Side view.

These mushrooms grew singly, in pairs or even a bunch of three.  Note that they are fused at the base of the stem.

The temperatures have been cold.  It is frosty most nights now though no hard freeze yet.  It might be that cold temperatures prevented the mushroom from developing and releasing its spores.
