George pointed out the brown deposits on the stem which is a sign that it is a
Cort of some kind.
This one has a bulb at the base almost as
large as the cap.
This one has brown gills and left over
strands of the veil. Another indicator that it is a Cort. George and
Gus pointed this out.
Top view of a mature Blewit. This one
did produce a pale buff spore print.
The gills are tan in color with a hint of
lilac.
