Ganoderma tsugae on hemlock.

Swamp Beacon aka Mitrula paludosa is what
Lincoff calls it. The current identification is that M. paludosa is found in
Europe and we have the Match-stick Fungus or Mitrula elegans.
Growing on leaves in a in swampy area. There are hair like structures, on
the "head", that are not mentioned in Lincoff or Mycoweb.

The largest was about 1.5" high.
The largest spore measured 19.2 x 2.9
microns. This is substantially longer than described on Mycoweb:
"Spores 11.5-16.0 x 2.5-3.5 µm, hyaline, narrowly oblong-elliptical (appearing
cucumber-shaped), smooth, thin-walled; spores whitish in deposit."
